Parowan City Council Reviews Swimming Pool Fees

The Parowan City Council considered adjusting the community swimming pool fees for the summer season of 2008 during its April 24 work meeting.
Mayor Jim Robinson said, in an analysis of charges for several public pools, the city considers the charges for its pool to be way too low. He said there are two perspectives on the issue. (read article)
Bradshaw Chevrolet Buick Maintains Tradition

Bradshaw Chevrolet Buick has been selling vehicles in Cedar City since 1931, almost as long as Chevrolet vehicles have existed.
Jacob Brann, general sales manager, said that tradition is important to them, and they want to continue to build on it with good customer service, community involvement, and quality vehicles. (read article)
Public Meeting Provides Information about Lake Powell Pipeline Project

The Utah Division of Natural Resources conducted a public meeting at the Crystal Inn in Cedar City, April 23, to provide information about the Lake Powell Pipeline.
Eric Millis, deputy director of the Division of Water Resources, said the Lake Powell Pipeline project is in the beginning stages of its development. (read article)
