Kilynna Lee Blake
On June 30, 2008, our beloved daughter, mother, and sister Kilynna Lee Blake at the young age of 20 years old was taken back to be with her Heavenly Father.
Kye was born on May 23, 1988, to Sandra C Robertson and John E Brown in Cedar City, Utah. She left behind her 1 year old daughter Stasya Lee Ecker of Cedar City.
Heavenly Father also took Dayan Kurtis Blake, at the very young age of 2. He was born to Kilynna Lee Blake and Danny Jones of Cedar City, Utah.
Kye was a happy person and always had a lot of friends that loved her dearly and cared about her. She went to Canyon View High School and was probably known as the loud mouth, she made sure everyone knew who she was.
Her favorite color was pink and we think that everyone knew that by how she dressed. Kye loved her nieces and nephew, she was always taking them wherever she went and just wanted to be with them.
She was a loving person and let all of her friends and family know that by helping them with anything they needed.
She meet Danny in High School and they became a couple, put two together and they had Dayan Kurtis Blake, a very happy baby who could not sit down for even food, he was always on the run.
He kept Kye on her toes along with everyone else that was in his life. He loved trucks and enjoyed going on the truck with grandpa and loved every minute with him.
He was a mommy’s boy and probably could have been attached to her hip. We loved them both and will truly miss them - such lives to be cut so short.
A little quote found in Kye's things says, "Cherish all the times you have cause in a split second everything can be gone."
Kye leaves behind her mother, Sandra Seeley; grandmother, Myrtle Robertson; stepfather, Gary Hafen; an older sister, Gleniecia Lewis of Santaquin, Utah; younger sisters, Joshlyn Blake, Brianne Hafen, Cheyenne Hafen, Jessica Brown, McKenna Brown, and Kate Brown, of Cedar City, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kye was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Blake; grandfather, Phillip Robertson; uncle, Isaac Robertson; aunt, Patricia Kelemete; and cousin, Douglas Robertson.
Services were Monday, July 7 at the Mountain View Chapel, on 370 N. 4050 West in Cedar City, Utah. A visitation was that same day before the funeral.
