PHS Band Attends State Festival

Enoch City Establishes New Youth Council

Enoch’s new youth council was introduced and sworn into office during the City Council’s May 7 meeting.
Councilor Celesta Lyman said the council is thrilled with the opportunity to have a youth council in Enoch. She said when applications went out, they had several applications, and selected nine youth to sit on the council. Youth council members will be involved in volunteer activities and learning about leadership and local government. (read article)
Ladybug Nursery Continues Family Tradition

In 1956, beef farmer Walter Kerksiek started growing flowers to sell on the side. The venture grew into the Beaver Nursery, and the Kerksiek family was soon focused on selling plants and acting as beef farmers on the side. (read article)
Cedar City Leisure Services Director Gets Change of Job Focus
